USER INFORMATION

Special safelight is not essential, but yellow or weak illumination is desirable.

Caution

  • New screen should be abraded with Screenprep (SPR034) before use for optimum stencil durability.

  • Degreasing the screen, use Degreaser Plus (P-6419)

Preparing the Screen

Manual

Set the screen on edge slightly inclined away from the operator and then follow this procedure:

  • Apply one or two coats of this emulsion, wet on wet, to the print side of screen.

  • Apply one or two coats of this emulsion, wet on wet, to the squeegee side of screen.

  • If a higher build of emulsion is required extra coats should be applied, wet on wet to the print side.

    Automatic

  • When using an automatic coating machine, a simultaneous single coat on each side of the screen is recommended.

  • If higher builds are required, extra coats should be applied to the print side of the screen.

Coating

Put coated screen in hot air oven with squeegee side up. Do not exceed 40 ํC.

Drying

Exposure time : 100-120 Seconds (3000W Metal Halide) / Thickness : 800-1000 m.
* Distance 100 cm. / Using 24-120W Polyester Screen Mesh.

Exposure

Place the screen in washout booth and gently spray both sides, increase the spray pressure slightly. Continue developing until or parts of the image appear clean and sharp.

Developing

Check for pinholes or blemishes. Spot out with a suitable filler use Screen Filler (22997)

Spotting

  • Screenstrip Powder (SST002) thoroughly to both side of the stencil.

  • Screenstrip Liquid (SST004) thoroughly to both side of the stencil.

  • Screenstrip Paste (SST007) thoroughly to both side of the stencil.

Reclaiming the Screen

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Storage temperature should not be over 25 ํC. It should be stored in a dry location with good
    ventilation and away from heat or ignition sources.

  • When stored under these conditions, It is expected to have a shelf-life of 12 months. from the date of manufacture.

  • Close the bottle tightly after every use.

  • This product is not stable when exposed to freezing temperatures and will not be shipped during such conditions.

Storage & Shipping

  • Is free from any toxic, carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic chemicals.

  • Does not have a flashpoint and is, therefore, exempt from the Highly Flammable Liquid Regulations.

  • Should be stored away from children.
