UV LED CLEAR COAT FOR PVC (LEDCV095)

LEDCV095 Ink is a screen printing ink designed for use with UV mercury and UV-LED curing systems, specifically developed for application on PVC substrates, providing a high-gloss finish suitable for spot varnish effects while also serving as aprotective coating to enhance surface durability.

80-85 durometer hardness polyurethane squeegees.

Squeegee

Always pretest adhesion and application before each productionrun, as there can often be significant differences betweensubstrates from different manufacturers and even betweendifferent batches of substrates.Pretest to determine optimum printing performance
for aparticular set of ink, substrate, screen, press, and dryingvariables/conditions.

Pre-Production Test

  • Maintain ink temperature at 65 ํC-90 ํF (18 ํC-32 ํC) for optimum print performance.

  • Lower temperatures increase the ink viscosity, impairing both flow and drying.

  • Elevated temperatures lower the ink viscosity, reducing print definition and film thickness.

Printing

  • UV LED light intensity: 16 W/cm2or higher

  • Recommended wavelength : 395 nm

  • Distance from lamp to substrate: < 4 mm

UV LED Curing

  • Recommended UV light intensity : 90-200 mJ/cm2 Note : UV curing resistance tests
    shouldn’t start before a period of 24-72 hours.

UV Mercury Curing

For fast running printing machines viscosity of the inks can be adjusted with UV Ink Thinner 5000.
Viscosity can be reduced (addition 5–max.10%).

  • Cleaner 3061

  • For heavy ink stains, Screensolve (SSO038) can be used.

Solvents

LEDCV095 inks are available in 1 Kg container.
The Solvents are available in 20 ltr, 5 ltr and 1 ltr containers.

Standard Packing

CHAIYABOON BROTHERS GROUP CO., LTD offer a quality colour matching service. Colours can be matched to prints,
wet ink samples or to PANTONE references. When placing an order, please include a sample of the substrate to be printed,
along with any other relevant information, such as the type of mesh and squeegees that are to be used
and the product resistance required. The minimum order for a colour match is 3 Kg.

Colour Matching Service

  • Storage temperature should not be over 18-25 ํC. It should be stored in a dry location with good ventilation and away from heat or ignition sources.

  • When stored under these conditions, It is expected to have a shelf-life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

  • Close the bottle tightly after every use.

  • This product is not stable when exposed to freezing temperatures and will not be shipped during such conditions.

Storage & Shipping

  • All other colours comply with the following standards : EN71-3, Standard of The European Economic Community and Part1303, Title16, Code of Federal Regulation of U.S.A.

  • Whilst working with the ink, the consumption of food and drink, and smoking are not recommended.

  • LEDCV095 should be used with care. Wear suitable PPE, for example, appropriate gloves and safety glasses.
