Screen Frame Preparation

USER INFORMATION

SFX007 (Screenfix)

  • Can mix with Screenfix Catalyst in a ratio of 10:1 by weight to improve the resistance.

  • Using a short-bristle, stiff brush, apply screen frame adhesive (SFX007A) evenly along the screen frame and onto the tensioned screen mesh. Ensure proper contact between the frame and the mesh, especially when using fine-mesh screens.

  • Allow the adhesive to dry for approximately 30 minutes, then trim away the excess screen mesh from the frame.

  • Allow the adhesive to cure completely for at least 2 additional hours before use or preparing the screen stencil. Leaving it to cure overnight is recommended for maximum solvent resistance and durability against all types of solvents.

  • Brushes used for applying screen brame adhesive (SFX007) should be cleaned immediately after use. Remove any adhesive from the brush by wiping it off, or soak the brush in Fast Thinner (2938).

Instruction for use

  • The screen frame adhesive and catalyst should be mixed thoroughly until homogeneous before use.

  • Prepare an appropriate amount for each application to prevent the mixture from curing or forming lumps.
